This Respiratory Syncytial Virus affects the kids’ability to breathe properly.

The symptoms of this virus usually include coughing, a runny nose, wheezing and even at times, gets accompanied by fever. Due to this reason, doctors suggest that people must wash their hands and try to stay away from all those who carry with them, the virus. Doctors warn that whenever infants get affected by RSV or Respiratory Syncytial Virus, the symptoms can often lead to the development of other problems as well. Doctor Lynnette Valentijn, who is also an MD talked about the issues, which people face whenever they get affected by this virus. He said that at times, people would face difficulty in breathing, look to work hard with their chest. This, in turn, creates a situation, wherein they have a tough time to take their bottles, as they are facing problems to breathe. In case, if anyone starts to notice all those symptoms within themselves or in their children, they must call their doctor at once. There is neither any availability of vaccine nor has any specific treatment for RSV apart from taking a sufficient amount of fluids and rest. Doctors have even said that the situation can become even worse if it does not receive the proper treatment.
