Munger, like his investing partner, Buffet, grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and both worked at the grocery store of Buffett’s grandfather. Munger used to work as a lawyer before joining Berkshire Hathaway. At that time, he was billed at $15 per hour for his work. Buffet gives the credit of Berkshire Hathaway’s success to Munger. He said that Berkshire was built to Munger’s blueprint.

Munger after his practice as a lawyer started working as a real estate attorney. Then he started concentrating on managing the investments. Later he became a partner with Otis Booth. Later, he was in partnership with Jack Wheeler and formed Wheeler, Munger, and Company. It was an investment firm. Later he associated with Buffet.
