OnePlus 6T Launch Event Advanced to October 29, Due to the Clash with Apple Event

OnePlus 6T is undoubtedly one of the most awaited devices this year. It comes with an awesome design that accommodates an on-screen fingerprint scanner, among many other features like the teardrop notch. It was expected to be launched on October 30^th with all the charm. However, an announcement from Apple Inc has made some changes here too. OnePlus announced that it’s advancing the launch event of OnePlus 6T to 29^th of October because the company does not want the dates to clash with those of Apple Inc. It was a few days before that Apple’s announcement of the product launch event became official.

“Over the course of almost 5 years, we have been proud to witness the rise of one of the most passionate and powerful communities in all of tech. But, we have to remain realistic. We have only just begun our journey and cannot afford to let one of the most important products in our history be affected by another great product launch. So after deep reflection, we have decided to move the OnePlus 6T Launch Event in New York City to October 29,” said OnePlus in an official post published on the Forum.

It is clear that OnePlus does not want the product launch to be overshadowed by whatever Apple is launching on October 30^th. Despite the innovative nature of the company, OnePlus is sure that media attention would go to Apple on any day. In order to avoid this, the Chinese flagship maker has taken one of the most painful decisions in its history. OnePlus also announced that they will be assisting whoever booked tickets as well as arranged accommodation for 30^th. Additional expenses regarding travel and accommodation rescheduling will be taken care of by the company, due to this untimely decision.
