Acer has announced the two new Chromebook devices in the launch event in New York. The company will now have two all-aluminum Chromebooks in its arsenal of gadgets. The devices are named as Chromebook 714 and Chromebook 715. All of the Chromebooks launched in this event are aimed at professional, and business uses. With a quick look at the feature set of these devices, we get the idea that they are suitable for high-end professional and business work rather than personal lightweight tasks. The Chromebook 714 and 715 have a full aluminum body that gives the strength, and a premium looks to the device.

As these two are the business-centric laptops, they have some common features. The essential and common element is the USB 3.1 Type-C port and a dedicated Fingerprint scanner to keep the devices safe as most of the businesses or the professionals are going to use it. Another common thing is the processor, which comes in various options like 8th generation Pentium, Celeron, i3 and i5 and every processor model varies in price. Chromebook 714 comes with 14-inch 1080p full HD display, and the Chromebook 715 comes with massive 15.6 inches Full HD Display. Both of the Chromebooks have Touchscreen and Non-touchscreen variant for the users.

The Chromebook 715 is massive in size with Display and Full N-Key keyboard with Number Pad. It’s the enormous laptop amongst the released devices from Acer and first of its kind from the company. On the storage side, both of the laptops have 32GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM. Internal Storage can be increased with External storage options. The Chromebook 714 comes with the price tag of $499, and the Chromebook 715 comes with the price tag of $549. These prices are applicable for the base version, and if the customer chooses other incremental additions, then the amount may vary according to the additions.
