After allegations of Sexual misconduct and the ongoing investigations, Warner Bros. Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara are stepping down from the duties. Warner Media announced the stepping down of Chairman and CEO from the posts till the investigation concludes. Warner Media CEO John Stankey said that it is in the best interest of Warner Media, Employees and shareholders to remove Kevin Tsujihara from the post of Chairman and CEO as he is facing the charges of Sexual Misconduct while he assumed the office.
John Stankey noted that Kevin has helped the Warner Media under challenging times and steered the wheel for more than 25 years. With his contributions, the company is still going forward. He also noted that Kevin Tsujihara would understand that his mistakes are not good for the post of leadership for the company and that could impact the company in the long term. As of now, Warner Media has partnered with a third-party law firm to investigate to check if the accusations are true or not. The allegation is that Kevin cast British Actress Charlotte Kirk in Warner Bros. film Ocean’s 8 and How to be Single after having a brief Extramarital affair with her.
Currently, the company is conducting a third-party investigation to get more knowledge about his wrongdoings while he was in an extramarital affair with Charlotte Kirk. As of now, His fate is hanging in uncertainty even though he is fully cooperating in the investigation. But, if some shocking revelations were made after the study concludes, he will have to say Goodbye to the company. Today, Kevin Tsujihara’s staff shared a memo with employees, in which Kevin shared his views and the decision of stepping down from the post of Chairman and CEO. Inside the offices, Kevin is still considered as one of the respected executives and many are sad due to his departure from Office.
