It’s true that Tesla has been struggling with the production deficit and delayed delivery of the Model 3 sedan. However, this has not stopped the company from making records in the market. According to the reports, Tesla Model 3 has received an overwhelming 5-star rating from the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the security aspect. 5-Star is the maximum rating a vehicle can receive for its safety, meaning that the Tesla Model 3 is up to the mark. This is not the first time the Sedan is being credited with praise from authorities. However, with this rating, other Tesla vehicles have the same thing.

According to the current state of things, all the vehicles produced by Tesla Motors have a 5-star rating from the NHTSA. It means that the vehicles have been tested for rough conditions and the crash-prevention tech in the vehicles has been just impressive. Not just NHTSA but other administrative agencies were also really impressed with what Tesla Model 3 had to offer. For instance, the same vehicle had received much praise from the Institute of Highway Safety some time back. This agency even went to the extent of praising the car for its superiority.

Compared to other vehicles, the Tesla Model 3 Sedan has a better reputation in the market as well as among critics. Even those critics who hesitated recommending Model 3 to the public started doing so after a period of time, especially after seeing the improvements. That having said, some Tesla things are still being blamed for. For instance, the Tesla Autopilot system has not been completely fail-safe in the past years, and many accidents involved Autopilot were reported. As a matter of irony, NHTSA had to take action against Tesla in some of these cases. However, Tesla keeps offering updates for enhanced safety.
