House of Marley unveiled the first truly wireless headphones for the iPhones. The Eco-friendly Airpods as the company likes to call is genuinely wireless and is eco-friendly at the same time. According to the House of Marley, the wireless eco-friendly Airpods are made with Bamboo and recycled plastic, making them safer for nature. The company named these Airpods as Liberate Air and will work flawlessly with the latest iPhone and iPad devices that support the Airpods. Being eco-friendly is not the only feature that the Liberate Air have. The long-lasting battery is one of the most interesting from a third-party competitor for Airpods.

On paper, the company claims that Liberate Air comes with a long-lasting battery that lasts for nine hours of continuous usage and 32 hours of standby time in total. Also, the Liberate Air Airpods come with the basic playback controls like Pause, Resume, Stop, Forward/Backward, Track Skipping, and Call acceptance. Also, the device can be used with Siri or Google Assistant. With a single tap or voice commands to the connected Voice assistant, the device performs the function. Also, the stereo voice communication and USB-C based charging are supported in this device.

House of Marley is supporting the use of eco-friendly materials for this device. They’ve used the Bamboo, Natural wood fibres, a composite material made from sawdust, recyclable aluminium and recycled plastic. House of Marley is working on social awareness about the harmfulness of the plastic and other materials. House of Marley Director of Product Development, Josh Poulsen said that the Truly wireless market is still in the new phase and is becoming prominent. That’s why the company provided an alternative for AirPods, that is made with recycled and recyclable materials. House of Marley has partnered with one non-profit NGO and will donate a percentage of total sales for reforestation.
